The first Flipgrid Bus Tour was an experimental investment in physical brand activation. From Atlanta to New York City, I lead our team in hosting 19 events across 8 days. With resounding success, I went on to lead seven more tours across six countries, engaging thousands of students, educators, and families in-person and millions more via the complementary social campaign. This physical manifestation of our digital product conjured lasting and rippling enthusiasm from our global community who campaigned to have their school included on a future tour, decorated their school in our brand assets (even, at one stop, creating custom cookies), and rallied students across grades and educators and administrators around the district to come experience the magic.
